I called back number (02) 8016 6988 reached voice mail for a company called CDM Direct. Girl called several times. Would not tell which organisation she represents despite being asked directly six times straight. Asked me for my current address and business details. I hung up and blocked the caller. Yep - same for me - they are calling day and night and also on the weekends Didn't answer as unknown number, but woman left a message saying she was calling from Toyota Road Side Assist, about my Toyota, and if I wanted to renew it. She gave a 1300 number to return the call if I wanted to renew.......Didn't call back, and have placed the number on my Do Not Answer list Caller: (02) 8016 6988
Answered call saying from Nissan Australia. She sounded like she was saying Mission Australia. She said their was monitoring of the call for training purposes. She said their records showed no airbag recall when I said that wasn’t case she asked to verify my details to which I said no. She repeated she’s from Nissan to which I said ‘how do I know that’?
Called me today. Lady blurted out something then asked me to confirm my business details. When I asked where she was calling from she said "Greater Data". I said I've never heard of them and proceeded to ask for her to tell me more. She then apologised as she could tell from my tone that I wasn't happy, and then said goodbye. The address she was asking me to confirm could have only come from my personal website, so they must be trawling websites for details. Had the same call today in regard to renewing roadside assist. This is a legitimate call. They would be using a call centre to make these calls. I think you'll find its Nissan Australia. Caller: Apparently Nissan Australia
Left a voice message claiming they were Nissan and it was in regards to my Navara and to call the Nissan 1800 number. Nissan Send letters for everything if there was an issue with my vehicle they would have sent a letter. Called the 1800 number on Nissan Website and couldn't get through. Claims it is about airbags are rubbish zip if you want to check your airbag status go to ismyairbagsafe.com or contact your cars local dealer.
OK, this is actually a company calling on behalf of Nissan. Yes, you may have had your airbag replaced a couple of years ago, but guess what a lot of them need to be replaced again.
I have contacted Nissan. They've advised that, because of the large extent of the airbag recall, it's quite possible that Nissan have outsourced their follow ups with CDM direct. https://cdmdirect.com.au/. Called to confirm the Takata airbag in my vehicle had been replaced and when. I am very mindful of what I say to unknown callers, so won't answer with yes. however, I am a little concerned after reading the above comments. Contacting Nissan directly to confirm. Hopefully, it was a legit call.

A company calling on behalf of Nissan Aust regarding airbag recall. Google phone identified it as a spam number so I didn't answer, listened to their message afterwards. Our airbag has been replaced a couple of weeks ago so not sure if the call was legit or not.

Quite possibly from Nissan, but I'm not taking chances, I will call them from the phone number in the email I got last week.
tHESE GUYS KEPT CALLING AND LEFT MESSAGES THEY WERE TAKATA WANTING ME TO CHANGE MY AIRBAG. Have already done that so be aware, hung up on them each time. Called me on the 20 Sep, 26 Sep, and 5 Oct. I haven't answered any of the calls and now the number is blocked after reading previous comments here. hung up when i answered. blocked number. Have left a message twice saying from Nissan Aust regarding airbag recall. Only Nissan that needed one has gone to the wreckers and Nissan notified. I don't trust them!
