Client received a call from this number ATO Scam why can't these numbers be traced to its original Location??

Just googled 'Kevin Shaw Hoax'. He and his friends have been busy all over the US.

Kevin gets around. Annoyed after several messages left on my answering service: Google 'Kevin Shaw hoax'.

Us too - warning of arrest and imprisonment for tax fraud on answering machine.

I've been reverse prank calling this clown, Kevin Shaw, and in my latest call he asked for my ph number. I said I'd give it providing he did one thing --- he said ok ..... Then I asked him to pull me off with his lips. He asked was that all. I then gave him all the fowl mouth expletives I could think of. Then told him to have a nice day 😀👏

Same as above, stating ATO threat of legal action for fraud and tax evasion.

We got the same message but froma Kevin Shaw advising of a legal petition but did not advise who it was for. This is very suspious, thanks for this great service

These mongrels had me convinced they were going to freeze all my assets and issue a warrant for my arrest - the ATO has confirmed this is a scam.

Just got similar call today asking to call (02) 8015 2967. Left a message on my answering machine. A male voice said his name is Kenneth Mathew from ATL.

l had the same message on my answering service on Fri 24 April Kevin Shaw every time l rang that number it was engaged

Scam call as above. ATO warning of arrest for tax evasion.

Same happened to me saying call back or a warrant would be issued against me.kevin Shaw then said..have a nice day.

I had the exact same message left on my answering machine. Sounded like a scam first up. Thought I would check around on the net and found this post.

We also had a message left by Kevin Shaw from the ATO. There are 2 tax paying residents in the house and they did not nominate the person alleged with fraud. This would seem to be a hoax.

Reported this number to the ATO. Let's hope they shut "Kevin" down!

Same as previous post: caller calling himself Kevin Shaw, claiming to be from ATO, relating to tax evasion / fraud. Received on land line; recorded on message tape

As other comments: claiming Kevin Shaw from ATO, tax fraud, claim against you and you need to take immediate action. Definitely a scam, I can't imagine ATO acting this way.

Yes I got the same call as Alex. I want home but he left a message saying his name was Kevin Shaw or Short. Saying a petition had been filled against me for tax evasion and a warrant would be issued if I didn't call him back.
The caller id came up as private but he quoted this number as the call back hot line.
