They called wanting my postal address but before they could get started I asked who this was for? They said IPSOS a research services. I asked again who is this for? They said they would tell me after the survey. (Dodgy)(Bullsh*t). At that point I hung up on them. They called back 2 hrs later and tried again. I informed them i was on the do not call register and hungup again, & reported them. LOL.

If you have iPhone running iOS 7+ there's a call blocking feature.

Best feature Apple added to iOS in iOS 7.

Great this website exist for us to check and report dodgy numbers.

They just rang me at 6pm on a Tuesday night, I let it ring out and they didn’t leave a number and I usually then copy and paste these numbers in google and things like this pop up! Probably a telemarketer I would say. Please block them, if it was important they would of left a message and these arseholes didn’t.

Looks like they are resurrecting this number for another run at the scam. Never call back when a number hangs up before I can get to answer it because it is either a scam or a cold call survey ( which is also the start up of a scam )

The idiots called today. The guy has a Philippine accent. I asked him where he was sitting on the planet. The idiot replied. "I am in your neighborhood". So again I asked for the location. Then he says "Auckland".
I live in Queensland and told the idiot, your not in my neighborhood and you should %#%K right OFF. lol. Give the IDIOTS are hard time.

As per my voicemail message, if my phone doesn’t recognise the number, I don’t answer. If they don’t leave a message, they get blocked. Pretty bloody simply really!!! Important callers usually leave a message. Cold callers never do!! Makes blocking easy.

Got a missed call from this number. After looking up this site, I realised I dodged a bullet there. Reported it to scamwatch.gov.au as I do with every dodgy call/email.

I received the call at 6pm. Earlier today I completed a survey for my recent experience having my car serviced by Toyota. I left my contact details as I wanted Toyota to phone me.... hmmmmmm coincidence? I think I will be contacting Toyota in the morning. I didn’t answer the call, no voice message was left and just like many of you, I googled the phone number and found this valuable feedback! Thanks to all!

Caller: "Dell"

Woman called claiming to be Dell. Wanted to set up a meeting for a sales rep who was in my area. She wanted all kinds of unrelated personal information. Even if it is Dell (it isn't) I don't give out any personal information to cold callers. Amazingly though, I was just thinking about upgrading all 300 PC's that we currently use. I managed to spend (waste) a bunch of her time trying to set up a time for 'the meeting' and agonising over desktops vs laptops and i5 vs i7 CPU's, how much RAM do we really need after all???

If a person holding several laptops that I'm, "very interested in testing" rocks up on Wednesday week at 2pm I will eat this very keyboard.

Australian female, calling to conduct a social media and lifestyle survey. I told her my number is on the Do Not Call list and asked where she got my number from. She advised it was supplied by SamplePages.com.au and that they have a form to submit to have my number removed. I let her know I did not appreciate being bothered at 4pm on a Sunday and wished her a nice day. I have filled out the online form for SamplePages to remove my number and it’s clearly not an automated process as I haven’t received a confirmation.

Against my better judgement I took part in a Roy Morgan face to face survey about 6 months ago, they offered a $10.00 voucher for my time and contact details, the person conducting the survey was of mature age and very polite. They obviously passed my mobile number on because calls from this number started soon after, I have now blocked the number and cut up the voucher. Never again will I be caught out all surveys are now banned, yes I know my own stupid fault.

So bloody annoying. I block, they come back with one digit difference in the number. I block again. Is there a limit to how many blocked numbers I can have, because these arseholes are filling all the spaces.
