Automated voice message saying there is a lawsuit against me and so on.

I just received the same call. From the "Australian Taxation Office". Very scary.

I used to work in the ATO. They don't do this. It is a scam. Ignore it. Wish Telstra or AFP would publicise what they are doing about this stuff

Automated Voice message saying that if I didn’t callback that they would issue a warrant for my arrest.. Spam/Hacker/Harrassment call. I just blocked the number.

Something about a lawsuit getting filed under my name and that I should get back to someone on a department division no 2800, the moment I receive the message!

Calling to say under arrest for tax evasion and pay immediately to release the warrant on my ID or risk deportation. Wanted over $5000 straight away to meet at an address at 478 Macauley Road Kensington Victoria
