Text message saying suspicious activity on my bank card, card has been blocked and to call this number immediately. No mention of which bank.

This number sent text saying there has been suspicious activity on my card and card blocked temporarily..

What a Scammer it didnt even tell what bank it is seriously they need brains with scammers 😜

"Bank Alert...!We have detected suspicious activity on your card and blocked your card temporarily. Contact us right now:(02) 8006 8050 Thanks...!"

Just had a text from 0474 869 115 to say ring this number there is suspicious activity on credit card we have blocked your card ring 028006050

Caller: Sammer

Scammer saying there is suspicious activity on my credit card, but could not identify the bank, or whether it was Visa or Mastercard.
Gave them a test credit card number and they then asked for expiry and CCV.

Received this SMS "Bank Alert...!We have detected a suspicious activity on your card and blocked your card temporarily. Contact us right now:(02) 8006 8050
Thanks..!". No details about which bank.

No bank name, no card name, doesn't use my name... and the text came to my work mobile which my bank does not have. Also, my bank would never say "thanks !".

Caller: “Fraud Department” - Scam.

This number is fraudulent - call your financial institution if you receive a suspicious call to confirm if it is legitimate.

Both a call and a text message from 'Bank Services', failed to provide an details and hung up when questioned.

Got a text from mobile number 0484 365 866 asking to call this number:

Bank Alert - We have detected a potential issue and blocked your card. Please call on (02) 8006 8050. Note 7am-7pm Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm Sat-Sun.

Looks well dodgy and scammy. Beware!

Obviously a scammer sent in a text message claiming they detected a potential issue & blocked my card please call this number. Text came from 0484 365 866.
