I received a call from "Mary Wilson" claiming to be a Telstra technician and saying that they have received notification that someone is trying to hack my IP address and that she needed to cut off my internet. She said that if I log onto my computer she can show me the details of the notification. She was banging on about IP address, gateways and firewalls. I asked for her name and call back number and she gave me this number (02) 8006 7905) she also told me that her staff number is TL04. I am sure they must have phoned me seven times in the space of four hours before I finally got sick of the phone ringing and answered the call. I can't imagine Telstra would just randomly phone people like that. Driving me crazy!

This guy keeps calling. They don't no for anything. This is a scam because Telstra would not just ring you out off the blue like this. They would send you a letter first.

The d*ckheads keep ringing me won't take any of my saying I have nothing to do with Telrtra, they just keep rattling it off, they must have written down in front off them what to say a**holeS

Buy a whistle and when these idiots ring you just blow the whistle, they will not ring again.

The caller says "this is the Telstra Technical Dept." and they are seeing a problem with my computer... and can I do this and that.. on my computer.. whilst on-line. I requested their phone number... and I advised I am not with Telstra (bigpond) but the argument continued.. This is not the 1st time this caller has rung.. I asked for a letter under the Telstra letterhead.. but they refused.. OVER.
