A recorded voice (sounded digitally generated) said that this call was in relation to criminal tax charges against me. When I heard this I hung up. Definitely a scam. DO NOT give out any personal information, and DO NOT press "1" to supposedly avoid the charges against you proceeding further. If you get a call like this, hang up immediately.

Caller: Scammer Left a message saying- You missed a call from (02) 8006 4728, who said "Lawsuit filed against you and the non-bailable(?) has been issued because of tax evasion and tax fraud the moment you receive this message ___." Bunch of BS

When I heard this I hung up.
Definitely a scam.
DO NOT give out any personal information, and DO NOT press "1" to supposedly avoid the charges against you proceeding further.
