I also just received a call from a Christina on behalf of the Australian Government offring me $4821 but I had to call another number (02) 8006 2926 and give an application code to a Richard Lee. All very suspicious.  I didn't call as it didn't sound right and thought that if I did call them, it might confirm an order or something I didn't want.

I also got a call from the same people i did ring Richard to find out more information, was told that i will get this money BUT i needed to pay tax first on my so called amount of 4,851to receive. He said need to pay the tax at post office first to the amount 199 he said the post office has an official tax receipt. I did not do this, at to me it maybe be scam. I don't know.

I just received a phone call from Raymond Wilson asvising the same. I was entitled to bank refunds but I had to call a Richard Lee on (02) 8006 2926 and quote an application number.  Was very suspicious.  Didn't call.  Got on the web and found this site.....thanks

Got a call from an Indian claiming they were from the Australian Government reclaim department and were wanting to pay back overpaid bank charges plus interest.  $4851 in total.  They had my name and address.  They said they could forward me a cheque when I wouldn't give them bank detailsThey also wanted to know where I worked, who I banked with.I was supposed to call their supervisor to confim my details.  When I rang and spoke to the supervisor, we talked for a few minutes and then the supervisor had to go and said they would ring back.  Still waiting....
