Called the number back and Jonathan with an Indian accent answered. I asked him which bank he was from and he told me it was my card so I should know and I said he worked at the bank and he should know. He said the number should start with a 5 and I said "you sent me a message saying the card was blocked so you should have the number" and he hung up.

Got the same message two days in a row. Ignored both, now I'm wondering if I should respond to the message!!

Dear user your Debit/Credit Card has been temporarily suspended due to suspicious transaction please update your details to active it Helpline: 02-800-621-32"

Above SMS is a verbatim copy and contains all of the signatures of a scam message. Poor spelling, grammar, choice of words, etc.

Reports of from other sites show people who call the 02 number are straight out asked for all of their card details.

Scam message saying that my debit/credit card has been temporarily suspended due to suspicious transaction please update your details to activate it: Helpline: gave this phone number 02 800 621 32

If it was really from a bank they would identify themselves. Don't fall for scammers.
