Caller: Telstra - supposedly

Trying to offer me 30% off my Current bill. They wanted my name and date of birth. They would send me a text message that I would click onto. Didn’t fall for that one! Total scam

Supposed confirmation number to support a scam number

Pretending to be Telstra offering me a deal. Hung up immediately once I said this is a business line and if they were Telstra, they would know I don't hold the account.

Woman with foreign accent said she was from Telstra and was offering me a 30% discount for the next 6 months on my account. I said fine, email me. She said it was only a phone offer - immediately I'm suspicious and I challenges her with "this is a scam, isn't it!". She hung up. I whish these scum a slow and painful existence.

Pretending to be Telstra and that I had won a discount. Then asked for my full name and Telstra account email etc.
Do not give these scammers your info.

SCAM , stay away

(02) 8006 1226 - scam caller - said she was calling to get my phone number- stopped talking- got flustered- then hung up. My guess is she wasn’t supposed to say she was calling to get’ my number.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra

Tried to offer me 40% off my current bill and asked me to give them my Microsoft account password reset code.

Female with an Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra, offering a 30% discount if I tell them my name and date of birth, because I've been such a good internet customer. Problem is, I don't get internet through Telstra, and they already know my name and date of birth. Complete scam.

They try to tell you your telstra internet is corrupted. I'm not with Telstra so that would be the first issue.

I received a call from (02) 8006 1226 and they didn't leave a message.
