Left an automated voice voicemail saying that a purchase for $299.99 had been made with my details on Amazon and that if I didn't call back it would be debited. Clearly a scam.

Received a message converted to text saying my account would be debited if I did not call them.

claimed I had been charged $299.99 & I should call back. Recording started halfway through message so I do not know who it is supposed to be but it is a scam. Blocked number and let you know, but I see it's a known threat....

Scam call consistently calling. When is this useless government (aka Police) going to start taking action against these fraudsters?

Claimed she was from the Do Not Call register and she was going to stop unwanted calls. Obviously some sort of scam but strangely different to majority of other comments on here

I didn't pickup but I have recently had a bunch of criminals trying to scam me after placing an order with Amazon. The order went astray!

Both myself and husband have received calls from this number again today - last was about three weeks ago

They just called me. They said they were from Amazon and I had a $299 debt. Told him he was a scammer and that everyone is onto them

They claimed that I had made a $299 purchase. I haven't rang them back as not true. Yet another scammer.

they left a voice message asking me to press 1 to cancel or get a refund of $299.99

Scam, claiming I had $299.99 bill for purchase. Have never used Amazon.

I called back and a lady picked up the phone saying that I have purchase amazon gift card and when I said no she says I need to fill an online form to get the refund. I felt suspicious as she started asking me whether I use iPhone or Android
Seems like a scam and from voice seems they are from India
