Got a text on my mobile from 0435 501 240 for a possible Fraud Alert on my debit/credit card and to reply Yes or to call (02) 8005 6075. Obvious scammers.

Fraud Alert: Possible unauthorised transaction on your debit/credit card of 258AUD to JB HI FI. Reply Yes or call us immediately on (02) 8005 6075 if you didn't make this payment.

Nothing on my bank statement so believe this is scam

Text on my mobile 'Fraud Alert: Possible un-authorised transaction on your debit/credit card of 258AUD to JB HI FI. Reply Yes or call us immediately on (02) 8005 6075 if you didn't make this payment.' No details as to what their company name is which was provided by a legitimate company used by our bank when our card details were used fraudulently on a previous occasion. Also didn't provide the last 3 or 4 digits of the card they are referring to. That's why we have a separate card for all online payments which only has enough just to make a payment. Never use the card attached to our incoming pays account.

They're not even trying!

Fraud alert possible use of card at Jb hi fi. Believe this to be a scam sms

I also received a sms with exact same claim as reported above for a a possible fraudulent payment at JB HIFI… scam

Fraud. Message pretending to be JB Hi Fi, and wanting to refund unauthorised transaction.

Got a text on my mobile from 0421 382 592 for a possible Fraud Alert on my debit/credit card and to reply Yes or to call (02) 8005 6075. Obvious scammers.

I received a text saying that I have a possible unauthorised transaction on my debit/credit card from 0401 872 165 and to phone the above number if I didn't make the transaction which was $278 at Woolworths. I think this is a fraudulent sms as there is nothing on any of my bank statements re this. I will be reporting it to my bank
