They call to tell me the government are closing inactive superfunds.
If you look for info on this , it says this is considered if no funds have been paid into the fund in the last 16 months & has less than 6000 balance.
Well, I have more than 6000 and I’m still employed therefore paying super.
Why the heck are you calling me ?

Woman (non-Australian accent) claiming to be from ‘National Advice Network’, wanting to talk about superannuation insurance. Complete cold call, incredibly rude and pushy phone manner. Tried to ‘objection handle’ when I said I wasn’t interested, and continued to try and talk over me whilst raising her voice volume and tempo.

They keep changing numbers including area codes and have been calling me for 4 days straight now despite me blocking them. When does it end!?

Didn’t answer the call. But since they didn’t leave a message I can only assume it’s a scam, since scammers don’t normally leave messages. These days if I’m not expecting a call and don’t recognise the number then I don’t answer. If it’s genuine then they usually leave a message and I call back cause the do not call register doesn’t seem to do anything.

That same number, I read what other posts are here - and can confidently say that I only have the one super fund and am gainfully employed with weekly contributions from my employer, so yes, must be a scam of some description.

Called to say they have been asked by the Australian government into the insurance your super charges you and ensure you pay the right amount of insurances.

Overseas accent staff member from 'National Super Service'. This is definitely a scam - Just hang up and add to your blocked caller list - do not engage in any discussion.
