On the 12-Dec, someone from this number convinced my aged mother-in-law that they were with the bank conducting a sting. From what we can understand, they arranged a taxi to her bank for her, where she followed their instructions and withdrew almost $9000. Later that day a man arrived at her house in Adelaide as she was instructed they would, and she gave them the money. We learned about it after the fact. Her daughter rang this number from the mother's phone and a man claiming to be 'Peter' answered. Police are saying it's unlikely they can do much.

Telling of fraudulent international mastercard or vtsa transactions, wanted my name, date of birth and bank ID number. Suspected scam.
