Don't trust this phone number. It's another scam.

I put my mobile number on the back of an express post envelope. A few days later I received a txt from auspost ( or so they say) saying my parcel is being held and I need to pay $2 for it to be shipped. Me not being scam savvy I thought it was being held because I put too much paper inside( I paid for the envelope it self at the post office and filled and posted it later) I thought it was a little over which is why I didn’t really think this was a scam. Silly me. Anyhow I got my partner ( who was in another state to pay the$2 ( I lost my bank card) as the letter was very urgent. Turns out they took$60 out of his account😑. I sent another express post interstate a few days later I received a similar text. Not falling for it again I ignored it but reported it to aust post who said another customer had the same issue. A week later I received a call from this number. I never answer ph numbers I don’t know. I called the number back after hours and what do you know it was disconnected. I hope this story stops at least 1 person getting scammed

I rang back the number (02) 8004 0079, spoke with someone who hung up right away

Called and left a 45 second voicemail of a man giggling

Answered, They immediately hung up. When I tried to call back, the number was disconnected.

Calls countless times, I’m assuming it’s a scam/ telemarketer

Hung up when I answered

Missed call from (02) 8004 0079 - Tried to call back but Optus advises that the number is disconnected....Seems strange

This number called my mobile phone at 16:07pm for 3 secs
when i called number it said it was disconnected
