The caller said that calls regarding electricity in my house

Thanks to this page, I now know the call relates to pesky electricity contractors - they have called a lot, every time they do and I answer, I tell them not interested, hang up and block the number. They always call from a new number. 8003 4629 is now blocked.

No one speaks in other side

They have called 3 times today and not left a message.

Caller: Said it was Homesaver

The caller swore at me when I said that I was not interested

Caller: Electricity third party billers

These guys are calling me almost everyday even after office hours from different numbers. When i block them they start calling from another number and sos and so .I replied them and speak to them politely I’m not interested in this!!! Still they keep talking. How can I get rid of this??

Doesn’t answer. Suspect it’s another scam call. Number BLOCKED.

About Electricity in your house. I hung up before she could continue. Blocked the number.

Caller: Tax Office

ATO called, couldnt understand him asked him to repeat, He swore at me, said "Shut up F$%%er" i laughed and swore back!!! he said he was going to issue an arrest warrant... lol

My TFN is going to be suspended & I'm going to be arrested

Has called me numerous times all week. I answer and no one says anything then hangs up. Number is now blocked on my phone. Be careful what you say when you answer!

Scammers pretending to be electric companies to save you money and give all your bank details

Scamming morons that keep changing their number...block one, another one is used...just block them. Phone companies unable to block permanently because of their changing numbers...probably a scamming side line for workers in one of the many overseas call centers.

These numbers phone me every day. I decided to go along with then one day and he said he was an Energy Comparison company. I informed them that I am not interested and he was very persistent to continue the conversation. The biggest worrying part of it all is that he has my name, address, and date of birth. I asked him to remove my name from the list and asked where he got my details from, which I would not confirm with him. The caller said that I must’ve filled in a survey, which I hadn’t and he continued to argue with me and I eventually hung up.

I have noticed that the number of calls from these scams and annoyance calls are in the increase. BE AWARE that if you respond, just by answering the call, not even speaking, you have acknowladged that the number is a life number. Your number will be shared with other dodgy companies. You will then be called not only by this number, but by many other dodgy numbers. Don't let them exploit your number. if the number is unknown, DO NOT ANSWER IT. If the call is a valid one, a message will be left for you in your voicemail. If the number is dodgy, then most likely there will be no message on your voicemail, or there will be a message that you can then listen to and see if it is a scam or not. If it is a scam number, you can BLOCK it from your "Recent Calls" number under MISSED CALLS. Good Luck Peeps!
