Caller: Scammer Makes out that they are Telstra calling and want personal information from you. BEWARE!!

They claimed to be from Telstra from the NBN provisioning team to organise a tech for my recent order. They knew all my personal details and asked me to pay the $240 up front for the tech to come out. I gave them card details and they actually took $2076 from card. Rang and cancelled card and payment straight away.

Received a call (from no caller ID), claiming to be from Telstra Provision team re my recent NBN order. Had all my details ( DL number address etc), and wanting to give Credit Card details to deduct fee for NBN Co. I was suspicious and asked a call back number. He provided this number (02) 8003 3447. I called Telstra support and they said that it is not from them- must be a scam call.

I called Telstra support and they said that it is not from them- must be a scam call.
