received an email stating this number saying I bought an iPad on fleabay to be delivered to 46-52 Meagher St Chippendale NSW 2008 Australia. But I am in QLD
I called and challenged them, they hung up on me

Said they were from Optus Billing and would give 50% off billing due to covid. They said their name was Mona. The convincing part was that they even sent an activitation code to my mobile from a number called OPTUS MSG and read out an 'account number' but I dont know if it was mine... told them to send me an email and I can action online if it was actually available.

Claiming to be Optus and offering Optus 50% discount for next three months. Absolute scam. Beware.

Heavy Asian accent said was Optus, who spoke too fast, I politely advised I could not understand her 3x so she the caller hung up.

Pretended to be from Optus and tried giving me a discount but wanted me to give details for them first
