Number displayed as (02) 7912 0977 - asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling they hung up. Unable to call back - SUSPICIOUS SPAM CALLER blocked and reported to ACCCscam watch

Caller: Marketing Solutions Australia

Had a call from this number from a Jason and what he said was a place called Marketing Solutions, was a survey about How Inflation effects me and investments. He already had my full name. There was an age range question 20-30, 40-50, 50-60 ect. If the house has renewable energy, which state I live in and then he asked if I am working or retired. I said currently unemployed and he seemed a bit confused at that and slightly put off and then he said thats all and hung up.
Either it's a survey directed to those currently working or retired or I'm not the right target for the scam. Had legit surveys before and they always said something along the lines the survey is targeted towards x age group, people currently employed things like that. So heavily leaning towards a scam, probably collected some basic info from a company that sold my data.

3 calls in last 5 days and just hung up

Same as above. I asked who is calling they hung up.

Called me claiming to do “current inflation in markets” research, called me by my name and started to ask about my age. When i said i don’t want to give out my personal information she said for me to not worry cause she’s not selling anything. I just repeated what i said and hung up. Ridiculous!

Just another scammer, add it to the ever growing list.

Caller: Australian Growth Research

Asking "investment" survey questions. One of the final questions was "What state are you in? Qld, Vic, NSW" when I asked what information she had about me she just continued to the next question. When I again asked what information did she have - just my name and number? she hung up. When I called back, it's a disconnected number.

Rang back and it said the number could not be found. Obviously another scam. Blocked!!

I got a call from this number. She knew my name. She said that she is calling from Australian Grocery Research. The call was originated from Sydney and she had Asian accent.

Ask for me by full name, then hung up?

Filipino call centre asked for me by name, said it was a survey on the effects of Inflation on my finances. When I asked was it a genuine survey or a marketing call for a financial planner he hung up.

Asked for me by name but hung up before I could answer and when I called back...it said number could not be reached. Spam call I'm sure.
