Rang then hung up

Got a call from (02) 7912 0972. Had to say yellow twice before someone answered saying they wanted to do a survey about financial hardship, and that it would be quick. Couldn’t quite understand the company she said she worked for.
They knew my name, number and address, so I suspect it’s from a data breach.
Questions were fairly general but then asked about if, hypothetically , I’d invest to financially gain, and what I’d invest in.
Asked my employment field and employer - gave a vague answer.
The kicker was “Now that the survey is finished, can I have your email address to send you the survey results.” I asked why the survey couldn’t be finished without an email.
She then said “We’ll call you back next week to discuss options with investing.”
So it’s not a survey, just a way to scam you. Number has been blocked.

Suspicious caller. Called back, immediately goes busy tone.

Called but couldn't be reached when I called back. Must be a scam

Clearly from a call centre and putting on a fake accent. Obviously a scammer who has taken names and numbers from leaked databases. Thank you Optus and the rest of you clowns for getting our names linked to our numbers.
I think it’s time to change my number.

Wow this mob knew my name! How is that even possible. I replied I was not the person they were asking for and they hung up. It's obviously some sort of scam as the number is not a local number and I don't know them.

Missed call. No voicemail left. Looks like spam from other people’s comments. Blocked.

Ring, ring, ring. I answered. Click, nothing. Block.

This number has been reported many times in April 2023. Scam! BEWARE!!
