Overseas scammers calling about hot water systems

Telling about finding government rebate for electricity and gas with some questions about the current gas system. Call was then transferred to her manager but don't have time for that. My gut told me this could be a scam.

Obvious scam - blocked

Called the number back (02) 7251 9709. Went to a call centre queue.. Lady picked up. They were calling me re: the Government's hot water system rebate and asked if I had upgraded my existing electric or gas hot water system lately. Told her I had upgraded it last year. She said that was great and thanked me for my time.

Rang number back & got two recorded messages (different voices). (1) "The number you have dialled is currently unavailable", followed by (2) "Due to temporary service difficulties we are unable to connect your call at this time. Please call again later."
