Caller: Non-English speaking female This woman tried to call me on 5 different numbers. She stated that I didn’t have to give her my bank card number, but I was directed to a bank that I’m not with, so I can stop payments from my westpac account from their number. Amazingly, I got answered immediately.. I then hung up, this woman then tried to call from aMaitland number, then a Brisbane number, then 2 other Sydney numbers. Each time she kept saying I have to go to westpac and stop a payment. I’ve never been a westpac banker and I don’t have a Mastercard. I told her I can’t talk as I was driving, she told me to pull over and give the bank my details as it’s very important. I turned my phone off because she wouldn’t take NO for an answer!. Horrible person who called me. This female didn’t speak English as her first language. She had an Asian sounding voice.

Caller: Amazon Prime/Bank scam I declined the call, as I always do with numbers not from my contacts, and a recorded VM was left regarding Amazon Prime and $99.99 being deducted from my bank account and asking to press 1 to speak to a rep. Clearly a scam as your bank would not call you via a recorded message like this. I also don't have my name or a VM greeting recorded so I know instantly when a VM is recorded it's fake.

Caller: Scammer Trying to tell me my Telstra internet traffic is visible and wanted to move me to a "private node", which if you know much about internet honestly makes no sense.
Also tried to argue with me, and then said VPNs aren't secure.
Anyway, just ignore the call and stay safe.

Caller: claiming to be 'Telstra' SCAM. A call centre with the characteristic delay at the start, a lady with an indian accent said she was from Telstra and knew my name, I said i need to verify the call is genuine (as getting a lot of 'telstra' scam calls on different numbers saying there is a problem with my internet but if you ask them where they are they say Melbourne (but can't name the cross street or nearest mcdonalds) and if I say what suburb or what suburb do you live in or what is the adjacent one, they say... im just looking that up, and get angry and hangup) so asked her what suburb she was in, she hesitated then hung up.
