Claimed to be Telstra, obviously number spoofing in a call centre. Do not answer or interact. Threats to cut off internet and still working amazingly- just trying to get IP and information from you.

Scamming number, hang up on answering.

Ive had this one - they ask which bank you bank with then ‘put you through’ and even have the banks little jingle playing - except the Indian voice is the exact same 😂

Was a recorded spam call claiming to be from Optus and stating that my number will be disconnected in 24 hrs. How do you report this number so that the correct authorities can take action.

Caller: Telstra

100% scam. Sent me a google link to access my phone.
Kept trying to get more and more information from me.
When I told him i worked at telstra he hung up then called me on +306981964632

Claimed to be NBN Tech (Indian accent) and advised that NBN had been monitoring my internet and that it was slow. Stated that NBN would upgrade my NBN to Fibre at NO COST. Then needed various bits of information to have me prove who I was. 5 calls in less than 12 hours.

Claimed to be Peter [with an Indian accent] from Telstra needing to "fix" a privacy issue with my computer! No thank you !!

rang and hung up on answering, obviously a scam, thanks for other posting so we know :)

Caller: Said was Visa or Mastercard

Recorded message saying was calling from your Visa or Mastercard provider to confirm a payment of &1399.89. Press 1 to query or press 2 to confirm. I hung up of course. Dodgy as but hate to think how many the might catch out with this one!!!

Recorded message that started half way through the recording saying they were going to cut me off something. Blocked the number

Hang up. Dodgy as hell.

answered ... i could hear call center talk in background and then they hung up

Beeped 3 times when called. Rang later - number disconnected.
