Not to be trusted. We have the numbers of our few close friends in Sydney meaning we do not respond to any mischievous strange numbers.

Caller: Someone pretending to be from Telstra

Claimed to be from Telstra and wanted check the latency of my internet connection…um, what? Said he had a technician with him to 'fix' the 'problem' and when I said I was busy threatened to cut off my internet service. Hung up after I laughed.

They hung up after one ring at 4:25 am

Indian woman saying they are from commonwealth bank . Someone apparently tried to do fraudulent $1800 transaction .
I told her , well that’s a f$”&ing pity . I don’t bank with commonwealth bank . She hung up .

When I answered, there was a few seconds of silence, then background noise which sounded like a call centre and a man's voice with what sounded like a Filipino accent told me that he was from the security department of Visa and Mastercard and that there had been two transactions of around $250 and $700 made overseas earlier today using my card. He then asked me if I was concerned that these transactions were fraudulent and I replied that it was all OK. There was a brief period of silence, then he abruptly hung up. They keep trying the same old scam don't they!

Scam! Recorded message saying a payment would be taken from my Visa or Mastercard. Given they're separate companies I doubt they would be using the same number ...

Just got scammed. Said they were from commonwealth bank security and that my up location had been targeted and someone was trying to take a large sun out of my account and they did some security checks and was talking about my accounts and now I’m out of $300+. f*ckers just took a weeks worth of food from a single family of 4. Thanks a lot arseholes.

Indian bloke said he was from Telstra scam asked who did he want then hung up

Random number. Potential fraud/spam. Did not answer.
