I said hello and call centre kicked in with an Indian voice, I hung up. Normally I say nothing because if no voice is detected they drop the line.
I'm ready to use the good old whistle trick, I'm so over these scumbags.

Absolute scam, said I was being given a discount on my Vodafone and wanted me to verify my details, told them to FO. Nowadays, anyone who calls with an Indian accent gets the run around and I waste their time, very sad to do but 99.99% of the time it's a scam.

I didn't take the call as it came up as suspected spam. Just wanted to thank all the people for listing their comments, as I think it helps with the automatic Spam identification. Thank you.

This number +61 (02) 7251 4271 has been operating since last year. Scam Watch does NOTHING I reported it in August 24. Till now operates as a call back from India/Pakistan scamming people on McAffie, Telstra, Vodaphone, same scam. You have been charged and you want it reversed. They ask you to give Credit card to refund. Which is a lie. They take money

Called from (02) 7251 9501, I answered and it took her a little to answer back, could absolutely tell she was reading from a script. Claiming to be from Telstra and needed to talk, hung up and blocked the number. Would normally give the scam caller an absolute serve but was at work and couldn't.

I dont understand how these people can get so many different numbers to use and there is no way of finding them? They are land lines! How is it that I cannot get a phone without giving every personal detail of my bank, my address and full name and DOB but these scum of the earth scammers can get phone numbers and use them to scam people out of their savings and life. They might as well be running around with a gun! Its bloody disgusting how telecom companies can allow this! It disgusting that noone can chase them up and find out where they are situated! I just do not get it?

Not a number I recognised so I didn’t answer the call. I figure it was a scam caller judging from the complaints left here. Blocked the number!
