Caller: icompare Received call from (02) 7246 4069 at 6:46pm AEST Thursday 18/9/25. Long wait until very faint voice came on saying my electricity price has been reduced. When asked where they got access to a private unlisted number they said from a database. They named an address that was connected with Origin Power a very long time ago so it seems Origin has leaked data or has been hacked. They refused to provide further information other than arguing they didn't illegally get the number. When asked to remove the number from their call list they kept arguing. When inform "icompare" will be reported for breach of privacy they hung up. Upon redialing the number was disconnected.
