Told me they had shut down a fake crypto website called 4xcv or something, apparently they had used my details to set up an account, email address, postal address, phone number etc. and were trading in my name. The person on the phone was not able to specify why they had only my name and my number and not my other details after shutting down this so called fake website and after I said I had never done anything related to crypto and never will they insisted that I must've signed up and they could help me claim my funds back? Super weird, hung up. Obviously a scam.

Caller: Some crime investigation mob about my details being used to set up illegal bit coin accounts

Laughed so hard and blocked them. One, I have no money, two I don’t care, 3 if you already have my bank account details then feel free to deposit as much money into it as you like!

Claimed to be a security firm calling regarding a closed forex trading company. Had my name. Clearly a scam. Hung up when I wouldn’t discuss anything.

I didn’t recognise the number and rarely get calls from an 02 area code so didn’t answer. Have now seen all these comments and will now block number.

100% scam call with strong Indian accent , know my name and talk smth about crypto ( can’t rlly understand what he was talking about under his strong accent LMAO)

What a lucky day, 3 spam SMS in chinese from different numbers (same context..) all in the evening. Now a call at 7pm. Thanks to the other folks who made comments. Don't waste your time, block and move on.
