Caller: Visa and Mastercard security

Scammer called and had told me that he is from Visa and Mastercard security department my credit card was used by Mr Peter Anderson in California. He asked to confirm if I know this person and to wright down the transaction's details, but I have refused as I was driving. When I asked which card was used they have provided an incorrect card/bank name. I have told that I will contact my bank instead and hung up.

It said a parcel was intercepted at Australian border force with illegal contents and a warrant has been issued for my arrest

Said they were from Australian Border Force and I was in trouble. Complete nonsense in an American accent!

Hmm, message left from "border control". There is apparently a warrant out for my arrest for illegal parcel.
I am calling scam, but will update if I get arrested :-)

Phishing. Border force scam. Automated computer generated voice that just went to voicemail. Other scam reports mention scam involves package held at border and threat of arrest.
