Caller: Scam

Forex trade scam

They called me at 3:40am and addressed me by name, said “my name is Alan Wood” and then hung up.
Tried calling back but number was busy.
Sounded Australian.
Now awake and confused… wtf was this all about?

The scammers that come from India are spoofing people's numbers and it seems alot of them work for Optus telco

Caller: Apparently a trading company

They call and call but no message. I answered a few times. When I tell them they have called me and to stop calling they ALWAYS say they have never called. My retort is not you personally but your company. I have told me repeatedly to stop calling me but of course they don't. Had another today. That would total minimum of 13 times now. If you block the number they call back on a similar number. Always starts with a 7. I don't think they are ever going to stop calling. I'm not sure what their end game is but to continually call will result in getting nothing out of me!

Answered this number. A male with Russian (or similar) accent. He knew my first name although i did not confirm it. He said I had shown interest in secondary employment and I interrupted with a polite “not interested “. His tone got aggressive, saying things like “why not?” and I hung up and blocked number.

I didn't answer.
No message left.

Received a missed call notification for (02) 7209 0968. Called it back but got a recorded message to say that the number is not in service.
