Caller: Claimed to be eBay

Said was going to debit my account a $200 gift card because of suspicious activity

A call that hung before I answered. Another of many nuisance calls.

That's totally scam from ebay !!.

some stoopid message about an ebay purchase, so ignored and blocked the number

I called back and they said it wasn't them so I recorded them and reported them to the police 🙂

Scam, claim to be from eBay that I purchased a gift card. If I didn't order it they insisted that it needed to be cancelled and would try and take your details. I swore so much because it was false as I do not have an eBay account to start with and don't use eBay at all.
They kept calling back and said I would still be charged. I kept swearing and hung up. They have an Aussie accent too! I called called back and left on hold music and automated service with an American Accent. Unbelievable!!! It is a scam!!!

Recorded message says “ your card will be debit of $200” then hangs up.
