disguised as debt collector for overdue account

They've been calling my business number I answered the first time and hung up and now they've been calling non stop, ended up blocking the number.

Caller: "Adam" from Google

Incoming call ID showed (02) 7202 6434 - but upon answering call there was a 3-5 second delay in response from the caller (which denotes an overseas originating call).
"Adam" asked to speak to 'the owner'. When questioned, he did not appear to know what our business name nor the business owner's name were?
Asked on what his call was about, he responded cagily with reiterating his urgent need to speak with 'the business owner'.
Definitely a SCAM when the caller cannot request the owner by their name nor identify the business that they are calling...

Rec'd a call from this number today. Had the usual silent pause at the beginning before the person spoke, indicating it is probably coming from o/seas. He jabbered on about my website & how he could get me on page 1 of Google, blah, blah, blah. I told him to stop lying & bullsh*tting and stop bothering people who don't want to be bothered. Also told him to make his mother proud of him by getting a decent, honest job. Lately there has been a spate of these types of calls & I am so sick of it!!

Sydney area code and claimed calling from overseas regarding a complain . SCAM

Called our business line but didn't pick it up since it was a sydney number and all our jobs can only be local to Brisbane. Thanks for the update it being a annoying telemarketer!
