Keep getting calls but no one talks when answering the call

Calls our landline and hangs up when answer phone comes on. Can't block calls on our landline so it's a nuiscance when this keeps happening

I send unknown numbers straight to voicemail. The scammers never leave a message

I answered the call on my mobile but it was silent at the other end

Sent to voicemail, but no message.

They thought I had answered but was my VM The guy was saying hello hello
So if important he had ample time to leave a message - cold caller for sure
