Indian gentleman, bored, yawning, reading script. Said was from Testra, problem with my internet (i'm not with Telstra) trying to get remote access to my computer. Ratbags.

fake call from telstra wanting access to computer, why can't These people be traced and caught

Caller: Harry William (Claimig to be from Telstra)

Indian Male. Asked me to sit in front of the computer and he will fix some issue as someone from Foreign country is trying to get access to my computer for illegal activity. Hell ya you are the a**hole who is trying to do that. I called Telstra and they confirmed it’s a Scam.

This guy read script and told me a service technician will come to my house at 11 tomorrow. I truly hope so because I will have my ridgeback and German shepherd waiting to greet him at the gate! Somehow I don't think he will show.

Didn’t answer the call. Listened to voicemail which consisted of a male burping loudly. Disgusting.

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent on (02) 6985 4654 this afternoon. He claimed to be from Telstra. The guy sounded pretty tired. I guess he's been making a lot of phone calls.

Clearly a scam. I didn't listen to his spiel because I detected it was a scam from the start. I think he said something was disconnected, but I'm not sure. He proclaimed that it wasn't a scam when I accused him, haha. It was strange that he was so defiant.

When I confronted them and asked him where my huge refund was as they owed me money, they hung up.

Caller: Caller said he was from TELSTRA and asked me how I was today!!

As soon as this Indian accent said he was calling from Telstra, I said, 'BUGGER OFF!' and hung up! Scum Bag!!

Indian accent male said he was from Telstra advising me I had internet issues and he would fix my problem for me as long as i gave him access to my computer. SCAM

Same situation as advised in earlier comments. Asian sounding lady telling me she was from Telstra and that hackers had taken over my internet and I needed to log on to my computer to fix it. I challenged her and she gave me a bogus Employee ID number. I hung up. Dodgy and dangerous.

Had several calls this afternoon from private numbers including this one. Indian person wanting to know if I was the owner of this line. Hung up and blocked.

Sounded like Indian Call Centre claiming to be Telstra, IP problems, yada. yada, just another scam and second one today.....

Telstra scam trying to gain computer access and information. Very persistent and utter lack of decency as a person.

Had a call from this number this afternoon with the information that someone unauthorised was trying to hack my computer. It did sound like a call centre. I thanked him for letting me know and said I worked for Telstra and would run the diagnostics myself. He hung up. What a surprise!

A lady with indain accent called saying she is from Telstra technical departmeny. She said my internet is unsecure and she wanted me sit in my computer so that she can check and repair it. I told her not to call and send an email to my email address also told her that if you are telstra you should have my email address. Also told her that I dont want her calling my number.
