Two calls in two days - no answer and when I returned it the line just went dead

Checking my phone logs I see that we have missed 7 calls from these turd stains in the last 2 days.Have also been getting hammered from Indian call centers via "private numbers" as well. Has got to the point I have requested a phone number change with the new number going to be unlisted.

Caller: Female with Indian accent

I asked who was calling and she said she was Telstra technical officer. I hung up. She called back three times over several hours. I did not answer.

Indian scammers posing as Telstra technical department saying there is a problem with your internet. Called my mobile 4 times today and my husbands phone twice. Do not engage them and definitely Do Not give them remote access to your computer. BEWARE - BLOCK THIS NUMBER

Tried to call this number back but msg to say "not connected". SCAMMERS

Scam - posing as NBN. Hang up before they could continue. Have kept calling. I’ve blocked the number now

Had you recently made a compliant to Telstra. I have heard that people are getting these calls a few days after making a report to Telstra. I got a call this afternoon from this number. I did not answer. I did however report a problem to Telstra a few days ago. Cheers Michael.

Had 2 calls on my wifes phone and 2 on my phone from 061269852478, same number. I didnt answer either on my phone because it did not look like a AU number.

I Suspected a scam, I asked which country she was calling from and replied. Telstra Melbourne. I quized her about the 02 dialling prefix and she had trouble answering that one. so I hung up..... now getting repeated calls every 10-15 mins... they hang up once I have answered.

I told her to f*ck off because we don't deal with Telstra. Hope nobody is stupid enough to fall for their thieving b.s.

Received a call today from this number. It was a woman with an accent and I could tell from the background noise it was a call centre. She said she was from Telstra Technical difficulties. I said ‘really’ she didn’t get it that I was mocking her and went on to say something about my internet. The call then cut out, I’m guessing it was being monitored and they realised I was not going to go along with them. Scammers!

Caller: The same old Aussie (read 'Indian') Telstra Tech Support Guy

Received a call today from the same old Aussie (read 'Indian') Telstra Tech Support Guy just now. Actually it was a lady this time and I strung her along for a bit while she was explaining about the malicious hackers that were attempting to get into my Network.

She asked me to boot up my PC (which I did while apologising that I had an old system that takes about 5 minutes to boot), and was I was 'in' she transferred me to her manager.

I then stung him along for about 10 minutes until I informed him that my 'special agent' partner had completed the trace to his location in Mumbai and that records of the trace would be sent to the cyber-crime unit in India for follow-up.

For some reason this person decided to call me an 'ass-hole' then hung up - how rude!

rung 5 times over 2 days wont take hint scammers who claim to be from telstra technical department heavily indian accented woman and man on different occasions

I just got a call from this number asian guy claiming to be from telstra said my internet would be disconnected . I said "No it wont" he started asking me questions but I just hung up. DONT let him have remote access to you computer

they keep calling my mobile and home number. Giving me the sh*tes bigtime, no answer when picked up.

Five calls from that number today scammers.
