Scammer. Phones in the middle of my work day, despite me being on the do not call register. Piss off!!!

DO NOT ANSWER
Called to discuss market confidence in financial markets, apparently on behalf of Bloomberg. Told him I wasnt interested, and to pay me for wasting my time, then proceeded to say f*ck you and hang up.

Minutes later called back to tell me more about myself that had obviously been gathered from social media.

Disgusting.

I said i wasn't interested and the female voice said they would call back every day you assh...

I got call from this number yesterday and i answered, a male voice asked for some other name and i said wrong number. I did not block this number thinking it is genuine Canberra Number however today i got two call first i rejected the call but second call the female voice was suspicious. I have blocked this number.

Called me twice in quick succession. came up as a Canberra call. glad I did not answer after reading the comments here on Reverse Australia _ Thank you for this service.

This is probably the same ‘International Media Group’ that got fined more than 270k for either underpaying or not paying staff. So real scumbags. Don’t bother speaking to them.

Normally I would hang up on this sort of call but I thought I would hear her out. She asked me questions about investing and my personal financial situation, seemed polite enough and didn't ask anything too intrusive or that wasn't already public. Don't know whether this is legitimate or not.

Called me and said "Hello" when I answered then hung up. Sounded like a foreign caller.

whatever you do. do not call this number back as far as has been explained to me by telstra, if you call the number back you'll get no answer but thay can use your number to call someone else and try to scam them. and the only record of the call is that your number called another person and the scamers are gone without anything being tracked back to them.

Said they were collecting information for the Financial Review on market confidence.

Conversation started with the caller asking who I was several times (bad phone connection) and when I asked about the reason for the call, the caller hung up. It looks like a scam call, blocked the number.

Called me up, said they were asking marketing questions about the pandemic. I said it wasn't a good time and please don't call back, and then they started calling me back and swearing at me.

Repeatedly asked for details. I asked who I was talking to and they responded International Media Group. When I asked what the call was in regards to they hung up.
