It is a spammer. Block the number in your phone if you can, in order to prevent future calls from this number.

Missed call from (02) 6242 0053 as I could not get to phone in time. I get calls all the time from various companies and charities, but the number was not familiar. If they ARE to do with Solar energy, I have told them before not to ring me again.

Just had a call. Some mob selling solar panels. The company is called Sunrise Solar.

Called today. Static. Said hello several times, then a digital voice said "Goodbye" and hung up.

I called the number back, a recorded message explained they are a company called Worldwide Consulting (an ASIO front if ever I heard one!) saying their phone line had been hacked and used to place spam calls around Australia. They said to ignore all calls from (02) 6242 0053.

I just answered a call from this number. Silence, then a recorded "goodbye" and click.
