Voicemail left in Chinese, but Canberra was the caller origin

this number called my Chinese friend, luckily I've got a friend working in Chinese Gov, so when they asked for name and passport details I told my friend to hang up first. As far as I known, Chinese gov won't contact Chinese in Australia in this way even if there emergent situation. And if they try to contact you, musn't in this way. I reckon it's a spam who is using similar phone number to the real one.(6228 3999).
Anyway, you can always find the contact number in an org's official website.

Same as above, prerecorded Chinese message stating that it is the last notification.

Similar to other people, I didn't answer the call but a pre-recorded message in Mandarin was left my voicemail.

Missed call. Telstra could not translate the message.
