I answered, it was a pre-recorded message claiming to be the Australian Taxation Office with a final warning, and that otherwise I might go to jail, asking me to press 1 to be transferred. Must be scam/spam.

I got the same message like above from this number to I hung up

They tried to call me without leaving any message. I tried to call back but the number can not be reached.

I was on another call but I called back and it said the number was not connected. Weird as they only called 2 minutes before. Scam.
