This is another number for the "Taxation Scammers". Said my house is under surveillance and I am going to be named in a court case. Load of rubbish but would be scary to people who didn't know it was a scam. I have had about 7 of these calls from different phone numbers.

1st got an automated message saying there is a case against me. Then a missed call so I rang back and a guy with an Asian accent said he had an affidavit in front of him stating that I owed the tax department $1200 from miscalculations between 2011-15 , I queried it and he was hostile and saying can't you hear me. I said my returns were ok and post the affidavit then. Then he hung up. I believe that he has mental health issues.

TAX SCAM called back disconnected number

I got a call today at 08.13AM from this number with a robotic voice saying it was the tax office and I had been named in an affidavit and my house was under surveillance and to call this number back as soon as possible.

ATO confirmed this is a tax scammer. Also said my house was under surveillance and that my phone was tapped. Very intimidating and unsettling behaviour.

Tax Office scam. Block it.

defo's a scam, almost put my car into a tree when i heard the automated message though.

I have received this call twice in the past 2 days, saying the same message "it says I have an afodavid against me and my house is under surveillance" Haha what a load of bull.

I had the same as Sara today 16/08/17. Said there is an affidavit against my name and my house is under surveillance etc. Pointless scam using scare tactics, don't be alarmed, just ignore or report if you can be bothered.

I got the same call from the same number today.

I just received the same "Taxation Scammers" call. Said that my home is under surveillance and I'm going to be in a court case so "do not delay calling us back". What an awful scam! I can imagine how stressful it would be if someone thought it was real!

I reported the number to the Australian federal police. Avoid the scam and do not reply/call back. completely ignore.
