Scam Recorded message from "the Commonwealth Office of Public Prosecutions" of final notice before police officers arrive. Urgently call 19xx number. Second call today

This is an ATO Scam. Some guy calling saying he was "Officer Sean Parker".

Asked me to provide my mastercard or visa details for my tax refund. Caller had indian accent.

ATO scam .. Stated I worked at ATO .. they hung up quick way to end call

Got a call today with a voice mail mentioned police. Rang back and got some crook pretending he was from the ATO.

Same Again.
"We want you or your lawyer to call us back before you face police offer at your doorstep or at your place of employment"

Also got this call from a computer generated Recorded message from "the Commonwealth Office of Public Prosecutions" of final notice before police officers arrive. Urgently call 19xx number.

I received the call about the Commonwealth DPP coming to my workplace or home today. Called the number back which went through to a call centre and they hung up. Block this number!

Added to my ever increasing list of junk numbers. Now it will go right to the bit bucket!

Scam call stating calling from ATO canberra and stating that i have done some tax fraud and need details about me and my criminal lawyer. i was like send me the letter.... and just hung up.

Just got this scam call too. Recorded message purports to be the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions in regards to an ATO issue. Before a police officer turns up at my home or place of employment I should call number blah blah.

My initial reaction was a scam but it did make me google the number in case.

Got a computer generated message from (02) 5616 0105 saying to avoid a police officer coming around we should call them back on (02) 6190 0359

They called me and says from ATO and told me that i had a violation for fraud, need to call them back and threatened me for arrest. I called ATO and found out its a SCAM..# already reported

Recorded message from someone saying I have defrauded the ATO

Told me there was a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion

Fraud!!!!!!!!

I think this is a scam. Caller said they were from the ATO and something about a criminal case? Very hard to understand - not a very good line. Kept asking for my name but I refused & hung up.
