Scammer Telemarketer. Blocked! Number is a disconnected fake caller ID registered to serial Telecommunications Act breachers Chime Communications who were found to have breached the Act over 1 million times. So why are they still operating? Who is policing these scumbags?

My Phone came up saying the call was from Canberra, ACT. I've changed my message to say that "There are two reasons you're receiving this message. If I know you, I can't get to the phone. If I don't know you, realise that I don't respond to unsolicited calls. Either way, leave a message and I'll come back to you if a return call is warranted." (I don't identify myself either). No message left. Checked this site - already flagged as a scammer. Blocked. Thanks ReverseAustralia :)

Caller: Electricity Comparison Select

Insisting on finding out about electricity account. Rude. Minute you start asking them to delete you from the database they hang up. Multiple calls from similar numbers in recent days.

He talked about an electricity bill for a property I do not own or rent and have never paid an electricity bill for. He said he was from Phillips Electric.

Calls several times a week, leaves no message. Certainly scammers trying to flog off money from innocent people. Don’t bother answering, if you can block this number.

Call from a call center advising - Aus Grid and requesting to pay bill based on due payment from last month -

after 20 seconds a female says "goodbye"

Calling business number multiple times per day. Given these comments, I don't pick up. They never leave a message, so either not important or not real. Grrrrr.

Ok what I won’t to know is as long as community and communication company been around why is all this still going on, why are theses people lack of a better word allowed to even obtain a number to start with let alone operate continuously, got me ! If not a legitimate business you shouldn’t be able to obtain a number to start with, all communication company’s are to blame Telstra stop the Bullsh*t

(02) 6188 6971 has both my mobile (where it shows up as potential fraud or spam, so I don't answer) and my landline repeatedly (at least 8x each day) for over a week now - never leaves a message on answering machine. Beyond annoyed.
