ato scam call same person and message that called on another number but they say they are Matthew

SCAM caller pretending to be from the ATO. Very automated voice. Don't be fooled by them!

Got a call from these guys, after leaving an automated message. Threatening criminal prosecution from ATO - due to miscalculated taxes. SCAM

They are scammers claiming to work for ATO, tried to get my address and some personal details

We've also had a voicemail from this number, at our workplace in Carlton, Victoria. They state their name as Matthew Clark, sounds like they are trying to do an American accent.

Scam robo call. Something about the tax office and a lawsuit. Don't call the number. 100% scam.

Got a call from this number, claiming to be the ATO, and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. Complete scam.

Got a call claiming to be from ATO, computer recording played with caller name Mathew, probably a scam.

Got a call this morning. They left a message saying they were from the ATO and I need to call back about a critical lawsuit filed against me. Sounded like a computerised voice message though. Am not going to call back.

Don't take call and don't call back! I got a voicemail from this number and called back. He tried to convince me that the tax dept had filed criminal charges against me for a miscalculation in tax returns and he wanted me to pay $6,000. I challenged him and he said the police would be at my door within 48 hours to arrest me. Then he hung up. NOT how the tax office works! Dodgy scammer!!!

Call from an ATO scammer. Do not call back, do not answer. ATO don't call you for these things. Speak to your accountant.

Dodgy recorded message asking for a return call. An obvious Scam. Reported to ACCC.

Got a call from (02) 6188 5674, then one of those pauses after you answer where a computer is deciding if someone is really there, digital click sound and call disconnected. Likely a telemarketer number.
