This is a Company who advertises a position vacant, then calls the applicants in the hopes of getting them to sign on for studies under the HECS Debt Scheme. There never is actually a position vacant. It is false advertising.

This company calls to tell you theres a job vacancy but then sucks you into signing up to do a diploma to get a job and have it paid by HECS scheme or similar............There are no jobs.......................it just a con trying to get you to sign up to study.

Yes this number rung my mobile in the outback, claiming to be from a Recruitment agency, this lady with a dodgy American/Indonesian accent, asking if I was still looking for work, i replied no I was never looking, and I asked how she got my number and she said it was data given from a recruiting agency I signed up with for employment? Trouble there is I've been employed since early 2005 and haven't used a recruitment agency since then. Scam me thinks!

I rang the number and was told the same as above but a little more. The lady said they were 'Past Career' a recruitment service. I asked how they had got my wife's mobile number (I provided it recently in relation to a Council Library Job application). She said that the employer in the position I applied for had supplied it to them. I asked which one, but she refused to tell me. The thing is I don't recollect applying for anything that could be construed as dodgy.

got a phone call from this number sounded dodgy so hung up

Bogus recruitment company selling dodgy certificate courses under the guise of "helping you find work".
