Caller: Email

I received an email telling me my paypal account has been debited today for and that if I disagree to phone this number. Obviously not real but if you feel like rattling a scammers cage this is the address. emiliebaumbach483 @ gmail.com. I'll see if Google can do something as well now.

SCAM. Received an email from creminwhitney046 @ gmail.com pretending to be Amazon saying that I purchased a laptop via Amazon. This was the number in the email. No order of course in my actual Amazon account.

Scam, same recorded message from ATO

Hi I also received a call from this number with the same recorded message as listed above. I did call the number back from a different number but had no answer.

Definitely an ATO scam although if they don't answer the call I'm not sure what they hope to achieve?

Before calling back I googled the number and found this thread.

I have attempted to call back (because I am curious as to how the scam will actually play out) and I am unable to get through.

Oh well...number has been blocked now so I shouldn't be bothered by them again.

Becareful a new scam.
I let all calls go to my answering machine now because of being harassed by charities up to 4 times a day and the scam callers.

So it left a computer generated message on my answering machine. This is it.

You have an affidavit against your name as the prime suspect.
Call (02) 6176 1594. I repeat Call 02 6176 1594...........Good Bye

I missed who they say they are but it could be the AFP scam that is around at the moment. I reported it to the local Police and they said please report it to scam watch.
