Scam Call. Tried to call the number back but it wouldn't connect.
Australian companies with offshore call centers in either the Philippines &/or India should be held accountable for all the scam calls that are bombarding Australian residents.

Similar to another report above: "Phone rings, I pick up, wait 5 seconds, background noise then Asian female voice: Hello, am I speaking to Mr <my surname>?" I cautiously said yes - as it appeared to be a local number - but the line was instantly disconnected anyway.

Rang my landline. Irritating because I cant block that. I have refreshed my landline and now my mobile on the do not call register. So hopefully the 10 times a day calls will cut down a LOT!

Caller: Supposed to be D L Travel Said I'd won an 'offer' on 7 nights travel at different places (named lots in QLD) I would get 75% discount...Repeated my Address, knew my full name. Asked did I have a credit card. Asked was I over 21. Did I travel alone...Talked to an 'agent' then I said send the offer to me online...put me onto his supervisor. I said "I'm happy to give you my email address, I already get dozens of scam emails, so they already have it" At pains to assure me it wasn't a scam!!! ALL Phillipino? voices...still suspect it's overseas Telco mobs

Asian sounding woman advised I or someone in household "filled in a travel voucher form". She tried to sell me an accommodation plan at "highly discounted rate". This lanline number is on "do not call register". Clearly a scam. I terminated call.
