Message saying there was missed documents for taxation office and if I didn’t give info there would be an arrest warrant. Scam, do not call back!

Call from this number allegedly from ATO. Pretty confident the ATO wouldn't advice of tax avoidance this way. Hang up and block the number.

Robocall said they were the ATO and I had been audited and now need to be arrested for fraud. Press 1 to speak with them or call them back on that number.

They left a pathetic voice mail on my phone saying I’m avoiding tax and I will get arrested. I called back the (02) number and it was what sounds like an Indian man on a muffled mobile phone claiming to be the ATO 🤦‍♂️
They’re not even trying very hard anymore. Dogs!

I think it was a fake call randomly made to anyone and try to identify who you are then they would do something nasty. I suggested to provide fault details.

I had exactly the same thing happen today. I called back and the message asked me to press 6/7 to divert the call. When I did nothing happened and I hung up shortly after.

automated message from ATO saying I had committed fraud on my tax return and so owed money and would go to jail as mail had been returned to them and I hadn't responded to them. Hung up.
