Automated message saying they were from the ATO, claiming my tax hadn't been paid and mail sent to me had been returned, I hung up after this as I there was no way this was correct.

Scam that was an automated voice and they had a warrant for my arrest. Scam.

Claimed he was from ATO and there was legal action pending. Had our client on the line for 50 minutes.

Message left was the same ATO scam as others are reporting. Not sure how they make their money but must be from you calling back

Scammers! Auto voicemail message left claiming to be ATO, threat of arrest etc. Don’t answer them or return call.

automated message supposedly for not paying tax, sent documents to me which were returned unacknowledged, if i did not call back a summons would be issued for my arrest.
How do these crackpots obtain supposedly secure mobile numbers.

call threatening warrant for arrest by ATO

This number is a scam claiming there’s a warrant for my arrest from ACT. Bullsh*t. Block.

Today I got a call claiming they were from the ATO and I hadn't filed my tax return or paid my tax and there was a warrant for my arrest.
Definitely a spam call

Possible scammer called with recorded message saying I was to be arrested for
non payment of tax

I hung up and ignored message

Missed the calls, called back and they answered saying it was the ATO but then when I said I had missed calls, they hung up on me. I called back once more and it went to a voicemail

Recorded message claiming to be the ATO advising that I hadn't paid my tax and threatening legal action. Requested call back on this number as the issues "is time sensative."

As with others initially I thought this was real but then realised it was fake asking to press Option 1 to avoid arrest

Automated message saying Paper work returned from the registered address papers returned unsigned the paper and undelivered, petition needs to be signed for your warrant and arrest this point i ended call

Message was threatening arrest if I did not reply immediately

They said they were from the Australian Taxation Office and there was an issue which has caused for a warrant out for my arrest
