Caller: Scammer/spammer for solar panel fraud

I received a call from these scamming solar panel idiots as well.

With respect, everyone should either STOP complaining or complain and REPORT (02) 6172 1461 to ACMA/the Do Not Call Registry.

These scammers rely on people not reporting to the authorities for abuse/spamming, especially if the recipients are already on the Do Not Call list.

If 10 people on a given day or only 100 in a month reported this number, it would help shut them down. But most people are lazy so I guess nothing will happen.

Call hung up when I answered. Probably another scam call!!

Call Centre cold calling in regards to solar panels/rebate scheme.

does anyone have a govt notification address, website, where spam calls are investigated. This behaviour is wrong and the number should be directed to "Do Not call register" run by the government vetting agency for scammers to be caught and charged for abusing the privilege.

I’ve received six (6) unsolicited calls from this number in the past week; I answered only the last two (2). On each of these two occasions, the caller promptly hung up. I’ve been unsuccessful in returning calls, and suspect that it is another scam, so I’ll be blocking this number.
It’s about time for the federal govt. to legislate against this time-wasting activity by these unsolicited callers.
More to the point, if these time-wasting clowns availed themselves of the white-man magic in Google Earth, they could easily see that I have an *acre* of solar panels in my array on my property. Then again, I suspect that carrots don’t feature too highly in their collective diet. Pests.

Solar rebate scam. Wanted to know what my solar panels were used for, then asked if I wanted anymore. As soon as I said no, they hung up.

(02) 6172 1461 appears to be a Canberra number. Phone sounds off, then is proceeded with a selection indicator of phone symbol as answer, and the Call, (02) 6172 1461 disengages.
