Automated message to my mobile phone advised me to call back for "Constable John Smith" and provided me the number (02) 6172 1219 to call back.

Proceeded to call back number and got on the phone with a man of Indian descent advising me a random employee number and that his name was "John Wright" from the ATO and I better have a defence lawyer ready because fraud charges have been laid against me and there was a warrant for my arrest. Told me that Police were coming to my house, when advised I wasn't home, told me Police were coming to my work, said I wasn't there, told me not to worry because they can track my call and come get me right now and that I would be going to jail in a few hours.

Went to the police station and reported.

Got an automated voice telling me it was the tax department and police would be coming. Whole new level of ridiculous spam. came in as 061261721219

Automated message in an American voice claiming this is a final warning from the Director of Public Prosecutions
The call was to my mobile, I hung up before it finished

Left a recorded message threatening that police would be on my doorstep or place of employment.
