Phew, got the same tax fraud message.

Tax scam

Purporting to be ATO - I don't think so!!

Claiming to be an agency acting on behalf of the ATO. Criminal proceedings have commenced against me and my family. Called the number back and a woman answered who wanted my personal details.

Caller: Scammers

I didn't answer but they left a voice to text msg that said:
You missed a call from (02) 6172 0554, who said "Tax fraud(?) and the investigation team of our department is investigating you and your family. We have tried to notify you regarding this issue but we had never."

I called back number (02) 6172 0554 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Computer generated voice message saying the tax department is investigating my family for fraud

Automated American voice advising me I'd been caught evading tax, they had a lawsuit and I was required to call the number back. Never called back.
